Looking After Yourself
- Look after yourself and care for others this weekend. While it's safer not to use drugs at all and there is always risk, if you choose to use, check out HSE @drugsdotie information at drugs.ie/festivals. - Not everyone uses drugs at festivals, if you do, we want to help you to reduce the harms to your health. Visit drugs.ie/festivals for information and support. - Look after yourself and care for others this weekend. It's safer not to use drugs at all at events. If you do, stick together with your friends and make sure that no one is left alone. See the HSE @drugsdotie information at drugs.ie/festivals. - Don’t be afraid to get medical help if you use drugs. The medics are your mates and your wellbeing is their main priority. If ever in doubt get help. See drugs.ie/campaigns for information about different drugs and drug emergencies. - Know the signs of a drug emergency if you use drugs at festivals. - Look after yourself and others at events and notify medics if someone is unwell. Find out about signs of concern at drugs.ie/KnowingtheSigns #MedicsAreYourMates Remember there is more chance of catching an infection in a field than at home so make sure you use the water points and hand sanitizer stations at the toilet blocks to wash your hands regularly. Stay hydrated. There are drinking water points throughout the arena which are free to use. Please do not climb on any trees onsite. It is dangerous and may damage the tree. Prolonged exposure to high volume noise can cause severe hearing damage. Illegal drugs are no more legal onsite than off - do not bring drugs including legal highs to the event, you may be rejected/ejected from the event and handed over to An Garda Síochána if found in possession. Serious sunstroke, sunburn or cancer can be caused by the sun on unprotected skin. PLEASE NOTE THAT PYROTECHNICS, LASERS, SMOKE MACHINES, STROBE LIGHTING OR OTHER SPECIAL EFFECTS MAY TAKE PLACE DURING SOME PERFORMANCES. |
